We will be holding our Scout Christmas Dinner with games afterwards on 16 December and in keeping with tradition we would like each Scout who comes along to bring some food towards the dinner, the menu for which is as follows:

Turkey & chipolata sausage or vegetarian alternative

Roast potatoes

Yorkshire pudding

Vegetables

followed by

Christmas pudding or chocolate cake

All Scouts should receive a letter today giving more details so if you don't get a copy please contact Bagheera - thank you.

Please can all parents check before leaving their children at a section meeting that there is a leader present before you leave. We have had several incidents where children have been left when there is no leader present or the section meeting is being held at a different venue.

For their own safety we do not allow Beavers to leave the building without an adult, so please come into the building to collect your child.

Cubs and especially Scouts please make sure you return the tear-off slip at the bottom of this term's newsletter indicating your interest in our upcoming events.

If you don't return the slip we will assume you're not interested and you will receive no further information about the proposed trips/camps.

Scouts don't forget that many of your parents don't come in at the end of meetings so it's up to you to be organised about this or you'll miss out!

Subs of £25 due now - Thank you to all those parents who have aready paid. Please note that subs are going up to £30 in January.

The Treasurer will be at all section meetings for the first two weeks of each term when subs are due. Please can you try to pay them directly to the treasurer, this will help the leaders get on with running the evening for the young people. To help us link up cheques with children please can you put your child's name on the back of the cheque, please can cash be put in a named envelope.
