Membership award
All members of the scout movement wear this badge to indicate acceptance of their promise.
Moving on awards
Moving on awards are gained when a scout makes the transition from one section to another.
Participation badges
Participation badges recognise the number of years that the scout has been involved with the scouting movement.
Challenges
Challenges are optional and are designed to test the scout. Challenges must be completed to achieve the Chief Scout Award.
Chief scout award
The Chief Scout Award is the highest award available.
Staged Badge - Emergency aid
The Staged Activity Badges can be completed by any young person from the age of 6 to 18. These badges should be transferred onto new uniforms as scouts progress through the sections.
Staged Badge - Information Technology
The Staged Activity Badges can be completed by any young person from the age of 6 to 18. These badges should be transferred onto new uniforms as scouts progress through the sections.
Staged Badge - Musician
The Staged Activity Badges can be completed by any young person from the age of 6 to 18. These badges should be transferred onto new uniforms as scouts progress through the sections.
Staged Badge - Swimmer
The Staged Activity Badges can be completed by any young person from the age of 6 to 18. These badges should be transferred onto new uniforms as scouts progress through the sections.

The Staged Activity Badges can be completed by any young person from the age of 6 to 18. These badges should be transferred onto new uniforms as scouts progress through the sections.

Group awards
Group Awards are undertaken by a number of Sections working together. For example, the Cub Scout Pack working with the Scout Troop, or the Beaver Scout Colony, Cub Scout Pack, Scout Troop and an Explorer Scout Unit working together.
Activity badges
Activity Badges recognise the achievements of scouts who have learnt a new skill, or who have taken part in an activity for a certain period of time. Scouts can earn activity badges by fulfilling the badge requirements during meetings or in their own time
